This cheekily named 100% malt Scotch is distilled, matured and bottled in Dufftown, Scotland. This is where legendary Malt Master David Steward created this world’s first triple malt by combining three separate single malt whiskys from the finest distilleries in the local area. You may wonder about the origin of the name? It’s actually a nickname to the hanging arm condition developed by the “malt men” workers after a long shift turning barley by hand (don’t worry, they use machines now!). Each batch of Monkey Shoulder is blended over a period of three to six months, only then does each bottle receive its triple monkey badge. The outcome, well the nose is zesty, with hints are of vanilla and honey, whilst the taste is focused around mellow vanilla with spicy hints.
