Motorola Moto360 Smartwatch

Motorola Moto 360

Motorola are a brand we admire, they’ve certainly upped their game in the smartphone market in recent years with their stylish and competent Moto G and X models. They’ve decided (like most phone manufacturers will) to enter the smartwatch arena with their Moto 360. The first thing you’ll notice is the round screen, which at first conjures the thoughts, Why Motorola, Why!!!!!!, but believe it or not it actually works. Sure a round screen doesn’t fully lend itself to the screen real estate required even by smartwatch apps, but Motorola have done a great job in making the user interface compliment the hardware in this ballsy design. Compatible with all Android Jellybean powered devices, there’s opportunity to customise the watch with a plethora of faces and straps for the fully personalised look. Weighing in at 49g, you’ll notice the weight but for a first generation smartwatch we think that’s some achievement. Battery life will be the downfall of most devices, whilst Motorola have done good with a true 12 hours use. If you can’t wait for some of the models on the horizon, the Moto 360 is a more than competent device.
